Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association
Mission Statement
The Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association (MWCEA) is dedicated to promoting education, communication and collegiality by bringing together the Maryland Workers' Compensation community to provide a forum for employees, employers, insurers, program administrators, medical and rehabilitation providers and attorneys. Our goal is to provide education and support for the strategic continuation and betterment of the Workers' Compensation system to the benefit of all participants.
To accomplish this Mission, the MWCEA will:

Foster communication and coordination of efforts among all participants by working together with the
MWCEA Board;

Hold an annual educational conference; and

Carry out such other activities as will stimulate and foster education regarding the Maryland Workers' Compensation Act and its benefits.
At the discretion of the MWCEA Board of Directors, support may be directed to appropriate organizations for educational and/or charitable purposes.
